Why are you mad at the world? Some people are walking around being cruel to others. What happened to cause this? We don’t walk in other people’s shoes so we truly don’t know what has happened. One thing is for sure is that we have all been hurt in one way or another, so we can relate on that level. Hurt by others breaking our hearts, hurt by others inflicting harm upon us, hurt by the loss of loved ones, hurt by circumstances beyond our control, and so on.

We choose how we react to those circumstances. If we hold on to the anger and the pain we can become resentful over time. Pieces of our souls get chipped away. Soaking up all these negative points in time will devastate you. Don’t fall victim and don’t claim to be a victim.

Some people are mad and it’s not us

Have you ever met someone that no matter what happens around them they always seem to put the dark clouds above them? You know what I mean, Mr or Mrs. Gloomy Pants. Every story, every comment finds its way to being completely negative and combative. Reaching a point a while back in my life that made me put the brakes on relationships with others that are this way has been so helpful to me. Life can be extremely challenging at times. Be patient with others.

Being able to position yourself to eradicate relationships that potentially dampen your spirit can be necessary for your happiness. Take control of your own emotions. You have the ability to navigate your happiness and well being, and even though you do your best to help others to rise above their challenges, at some point you have to let go. If you have tried to connect with them and help them recognize that they are mad at the world, then you at least tried. Those people have to take charge of themselves, for themselves.

Lacking happiness will take a toll

They need to realize that their lack of happiness and being angry all the time can be taking a toll on their lives in a way that it could be projected on to others around them. Some people truly have no idea that they are that way. Years can go by. Don’t lose yourself in the process of being there for them. It happens all too often and before you know it you both become allies in the quest for doom.

The purpose of these types of stories is to recognize potential scenarios within us and around us. This is Ridiculously Enjoy Life and we need as many tools in our toolboxes to help us get through some low points that can surface throughout our lives. The toolbox has all the goodness you need!

When we recognize the mood killers that creep up we can adjust our reactions to them. Will your day be ruined because of someone else? Don’t let it get you down. Just think to yourself that those people may have recently gone through something terrible and it’s not personal. Let it go and get that smile back on your face!

Pass it on!

Conclusion

Each day we face new challenges. Don’t let those challenges define who you are. Don’t allow others to affect how you feel. It really is up to you on how you feel. Be kind to yourself, be kind to others, and hopefully that will create a domino effect in the right direction.

What helpful tips do you have for others not to become mad at the world?
