Arriving at the here and now should give you the information that you must completely surrender the old and absorb the new.  This notion can be very frightening to most because we as people are creatures of habit and are comfortable in our environment.  Mainly because it’s our safety net.

Being negative, being around negative people, and being in a negative environment is very toxic.  Many people have been in this realm their entire lives and never have a clue that it’s the biggest reason for the position that they are in.  That being said, let go of the relationships and environments that are weighing you down regardless.

Do periodic check-ins with yourself.

The simplest way to achieve this is to test it.  Make note of a morning when you wake, you’re in a pretty decent mood, and then you get around someone close to you and see how your mood progresses.  Did this person elevate your mood or decrease it?  This information will be extremely useful for analyzing your world moving forward.  Does your environment bring you down?  Your job, your home, and your neighborhood should bring you happiness.  Don’t remain static even if it’s difficult.  You don’t need permission from anyone to be happy and successful in life, whatever that may mean to you.

The more you are positive the more you will inspire yourself.

Progressing little by little to the next stage of absorbing the new should be viewed as exciting.  The newness is positivity.  Positivity brings inspiration.   Be inspired.  This is the time to open the mind and discover your dreams.  Write them down.  I have heard this so many times through the years and always discarded the notion.  I discarded it because I had always felt that having the thought of the dreams in my head was enough on its own.  It’s in my brain, why should I go through the motions to put it writing?  I have discovered that the true reason is that it is better visualized.  It shows your intentions, but you must write it with conviction.  You will then believe it and then you can own it by creating action.

You must believe you will.

Positivity.  The images of some type of goodness when the here and now may not be perceived as goodwill pull you through.  The belief in your heart that things will work out.  I am so very grateful for being able to project positivity and good energy with the things that come my way now.  The mindset had to change.  This was very complicated for me to do because my way of life had always been feeling defeated and negative when I had failed at something.  I internalized those failures so deeply with a negative attitude.  The negative feeling always created a domino effect and then I would reflect on my other failures.  Can you imagine how much time is wasted throughout your life obsessing about your previous failures in a negative manner?  It was completely counterproductive.

Redirect your poor attitude.

Redirecting your energy towards a positive attitude in your daily life will propel you to reaching your goals.  The saying, “fake it til ya make it” is a good thought for this process.  It actually worked for me.  Situations in life can always be turned into some type of positive view and the feeling once you’re through it eases what has actually happened.  If you are at the point in life where you now realize the importance and value of being positive, make sure that you take a look at the people around you to see if they project positivity.  Those are the type of people you need to surround yourself especially during the process of creating the new positivity habit.  You will be inspired each and every day with any situation that arises.

persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.

Do you guys have any strategies of your own on how to accomplish this?
